Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026 · Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Overview
Nody ("Nody", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website and services available at https://nody.chat (the "Service"). Nody is an AI-powered canvas workspace that lets you explore ideas with multiple AI models.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information from Google Sign-In. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier (sub), together with OAuth tokens needed to authenticate you. We never receive your Google password.
- Content you create. Canvases, nodes, prompts, AI responses, context groups, model selections, and files or documents you upload or attach.
- Usage and billing information. Point balances, transactions, subscription status, and Stripe customer identifiers. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information. IP address, browser and device information, and cookies or local storage used for sessions and preferences.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate the Service, including authenticating you and saving your work.
- Send your prompts and relevant context to third-party AI model providers so they can generate responses.
- Process payments, credits, and subscriptions.
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the product.
- Send you service-related messages, such as account or billing notifications.
4. Google User Data and Limited Use
Nody requests only basic Google profile scopes (openid, email, profile) and uses them solely to create your account and authenticate you.
Nody's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide or secure the Service, comply with law, or as described in this policy.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- AI model providers. Prompts, relevant context, and generated content are sent to model providers through our gateway to produce responses.
- Payment processing. Stripe processes payments and subscriptions.
- Email delivery. Transactional email providers deliver account and billing emails.
- Infrastructure. Cloud hosting, storage, and content-delivery or proxy providers that operate the Service.
- Legal. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage for essential purposes such as keeping you signed in, remembering your theme preference, and protecting against abuse. You can clear these through your browser settings, but parts of the Service may stop working.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected]. Some records (for example, billing records) may be retained where required by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information on servers located in countries other than yours. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service where appropriate.
